


The Project sits on a primary cross axis of traffic and transit in West LA. The project is near to the Expo Line and the la river. Most people are coming from the station and Jefferson Blvd. So, We decide to introduce across space to bring the pedestrians and neighborhood. We work and near residents. Also, we want to connect the La river and The Jefferson station.The project massing is It consists of three main parts vertically. The vertical sequence is Several buildings one building become several buildings with the connection. The first part is the “wave”. It is divided by the cross and creates the ground circulation. It includes cinema, shop and hotel lobby. The middle part is a Horizontally extended space. It is an exhibition area. The third part is a dynamic office area.

WRAP
A high-rise provides maximum density in a consolidated space. Inevitably, urban environments have built vertically in order to provide adequate resources for inhabitants om close proximity. Over the last century, the high-rise has evolved from a simple extruded square to a myriad of massing techniques due largely to advancements in structure, circulation, and enclosure. The site is on the intersection of Jefferson and national Blvd in Culver City. In an effort to maximize the use of the new expo line expansion to Santa Monica this restriction is beginning to be lifted and will inevitably yield more high rises in the area The first high rise in a community should include amenities that attract users in order to promote growth.

Today, traditional office buildings are becoming less valuable. With technological advancing us towards mobile and global workflow, many jobs allow employees to work from home to save money on necessarily square footage. What is not being considered is how the lack of a communal workspace negatively affects productivity and the well-being of their employees. Office space is not only for work but can provide people a social environment where people can feel comfortable and appreciated. Communal space is beneficial in diversifying intelligence and providing a healthy, playful environment to expand creativity. This is the trend of current and future office building.
In order to realize this concept, we divide the whole building into different parts vertically and transform the original single-function office building into a multi-functional modern office building. In high-rise buildings, the vertical change can not be ignored, we also create a different vertical environment to adapt to different functions.
